Nine months after the events of Tree Magic, Rainbow is struggling to come to terms with how she’s changed. Her bond with trees has grown, but now they’re under threat from the Tree Slayer.

To save them, she’ll need to leave everything she knows and loves. It will be her greatest adventure yet – but she cannot succeed alone.

She’ll have to enlist the help of Eole, an enigmatic scientist and sceptic.

Does Rainbow have what it takes to face the Tree Slayer? And can she trust Eole, who has powers of his own?

My Review

I loved reading book one Tree Magic, so much that I wanted to read in the tree magic book 2 Tree Slayer, which is another extremely well written story, full of pure fantastic imagination by author Harriet Springbett.

From book 1 leads to book 2 where Rainbow has now grown up, who wants to borrow her mums car, to see Christophe, he has a surprise for her, but she must spend her evenings revising for her Baccalaureate exams.

Rainbow still cares about trees, she has a mysterious quest with the most important gre in France to save. Rainbow tries to help a tree even in a gale force of high winds, where a waulnut tree could fall down. Rainbow couldn’t just abandoned the trees and began to try to communicate with them in torrential wheather. But then there’s the Tree Slayer which is daunting and gaining strength but Rainbow has other thought of someone who may know how to vanquish the Tree Slayer, what ever it was? Or can Rainbow face the Tree Slayer alone?

I recommend both books Tree Magic and Tree Slayer as you won’t find anything quite like this kind of unusual magic anywhere  other than from the perfect imagination of Harriet Springbett.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Kelly Lacey at Love Books Group for inviting me to  read and review Tree Slayer and for kindly inviting me to be involved in the blog tour. I would also like to say I appreciate Impress Books for sending me Tree Slayer.
